The Hyde Park Chamber of Commerce is a community advocate for businesses in Hyde Park, Chicago.

Logo Redesign

On the Chamber of Commerce’s 100th anniversary, the Chamber council wanted a fresh look that focused on Hyde Park’s businesses but paid homage to the natural beauty of Hyde Park.

Role: After researching the original logo, the preferences of the committee and what Hyde Park means to it’s citizens, I designed the logo with the focus on the Museum of Science and Industry which is both a recognizable landmark and a member of the Chamber. I also included visuals of the lake, trees, and building around the museum.

The Summer Sunday
Concert Series

A free annual summer concert that brings a plethora of genres to the multicultural residents of Hyde Park.

Role: Design the event poster, banner, and flyers that display all concerts within the series.

The Hyde Park Dinner Crawl

A mini tour of Hyde Park’s restaurants, the Dinner Crawl offers participants sample menus under a reasonable cover cost.

Role: I provided the Dinner Crawl “Passport’s” containing a map of all the participating restaurants and pages for stamp collection of each restaurant. Also enclosed were advertisements and coupons for the businesses of Hyde Park Chamber members.

Member Directory

An annual 50–60 page directory that provides an overview of Hyde Park’s neighborhood offerings and information about Chamber members and their businesses.

Role: After compiling the HPCC member index, I assemble the directory with member information, the location of that data within the overall book, put together a transportation map of Hyde Park, and the various articles about Hyde Park and it’s offerings.

Other Digital Collateral

Role: Design newsletter headers and digital event announcements with a cohesive but distinctive style that reflects the Chamber brand.
